My internet died for a couple of days. Lately, we've been having problems, and I'm not entirely sure why it keep happening, but my mom managed to get it back up today. I had a lot of catching up to do today - how sad! I spend too much time online...

Anyways, because I haven't had internet for the last while, I'm a little late on posting this - but then again, when do I ever post something on the day that it occurs? It was my lover's birthday on the 17th...

Lately, I've been watching scary movies... I want to watch something really scary! Not gory, mind you... more like horror. I finally got around to watching The Ring, because I've never seen it before. I had first watched the Japanese version, but it wasn't really that scary. The American one was a bit scarier... I also watched the Korean movie, A Tale of Two Sisters. That one was pretty scary~! It was a bit of a ghost story, but overall, it was more of a psychological horror... it had some pretty scary scenes though! It was pretty good... I was wondering though, if any of you guys know some good scary movies~ (BTW, I watched Grudge and Ju-on, which were both pretty creepy too) Please let me know if you know any good ones. In the meantime, I'll just keep playing Fatal Frame 2 on hard mode...

And the other day, I picked up Kagamin and Tsukasa~ Of course I had to buy them together...

I got paid waaaaay to much on my paycheck. I know for sure I didn't work 96 hours in only two weeks... so I told my boss about it. After a while, she found out that, yeah, it was wrong. Apparently, they thought I didn't get my first check, so they just paid me from the beginning of the month. In a way, it's good because I have tons of money now, but.... that extra money will be taken off my next paycheck. That means I shouldn't spend too much ^^

Anyways, I got Yuki Nagato, Witch version figma the other day... I love her cape and hat, and I especially love her guitar.... She's so moe...

I finally got to watch the Lucky Star OVA the other day. So full of random! I was happy to see Shirashi actually show up a couple times~ WAWAWA忘れ物... I loved the whole MMORPG scene, and the dream scene... and the Keroro/Tamama scene was creepy, but so hilarious! I really hope they make a second OVA, or a second season... I really like the randomness, and the continual referrences to otaku culture and anime/manga/games. Now I've gone and downloaded some of their albums... actually, a recent one... Lucky Star Music Fair~! I've only heard a couple of songs, but so far, the album is really good~~ The songs are cute, and there are a ton of Shirashi/Akira songs~!

Lately, I've been paying more attention to Patti... she's super cute! So I was happy when I saw that she had a song on this album! Oh, the excitement of being an otaku! Patti understands...


Oh, I also wanted to mention, that this year's SaiMoe (which is a contest to see which anime girl is most moe) winner is Kagamin from Lucky Star~ Although she's not moe to me, I'm glad someone from Lucky Star won....

And... I've been addicted to WebKare lately... it's an online dating sim... kind of ^^ I think someone here would be interested in it ^^ Ohoho.... I like to poke my Kare...

So, I think I might have a job... probably. I applied for the Shoppers in Chinook, and I got a phone call the next day asking me to come in. So I went for the interview, and she said that she really wanted to hire me, but she just needed to figure out where to put me. Anyways, I should be getting a call before the weekend, letting me know when and where I start. WHICH IS GOOD! I am soooo poor... I don't have any money... how sad... But on the positive side, I got Kona-chan in the mail the other day~~ Uwaa, I love her face~~ Besides Shiraishi, she is one of my favorite Lucky Star characters....

I've been sick lately... and because of that, I've been sleeping alot... so I really haven't been online much lately. Even though I'm sick, I went out with my lover and my coworkers to see The Dark Night. It was really good~ But... it's so dark! I really don't like dark things.... haaa... my heart feels heavy after watching it. I don't think I'd ever watch it again. But soon - OH YES! - soon, I will go see STEP BROTHERS! If you don't know this already, I love Will Ferrel... he's my favorite (american) actor! I'm really excited to see it~~~~ I love the previews: "My dad will miss me" "HE'LL NEVER KNOW YOU'RE GONE~!!"... I laugh everytime I see it~

Anyways, another trip in China town led me to finally buy Pocco from Revoltech~ She's a character based off of an illustration... I bought her because she is cute, and very detailed!

Hehe... my burn is okay today. It doesn't hurt unless I poke it, but it's still oozing stuff. I put a wrap on it today for work, but when I got home and took it off, it didn't look any better ^^ I think I need to let it breathe.

When I got to work today, my boss pulled me aside and told me that even though I worked only 2 hours yesterday before going home, that they would pay me for my full shift anyways~~ How nice~~~~~! They are sooooo nice!!! I was a bit worried about that, as my phone bill still needs to be paid off from when I went to Chicago.... ^^;;;;; Anyways, that made my day much better... though, I think I'm getting a cold or something. My throat was (And still is) scratchy, and I keep sneezing. I had a headache earlier too. Ah.... I wonder why I'm getting sick --> BAD LIFESTYLE!

Anyways, since I first saw it, I've been addicted to this video... Paffendorf, remixed with Konata's voice (from Lucky Star), animated as the vocaloids.... How cute and random! Can't get the song out of my head...

I burnt myself today at work... pretty bad. I mean, I don't think it's as bad as the fryer burn I got at A&W, but it hurt really bad. I don't know... I was pretty careless, I think. I always think "After working at A&W, nothing seems that hot" I always splash hot water or coffee on myself, but I just wipe it away, because it doesn't really hurt that much anymore. So, I always have this attitude when I work, and don't really pay attention like I should.

I saw one of the coffee pots overflowing, so I turned off the machine, and quickly grabbed the filter so I could put it in the sink (that way the pot won't get fuller). But I pulled it too quickly, and the water that was still in the filter splashed out all over my hand. I made a mess, and I knew instantly that this was going to hurt. I looked down, and saw that the skin on my hand already started to bubble. When I got the fryer burn at A&W, I quickly tried to wipe my hand on my apron... in doing so, I ripped the skin off of my hand. This time, I didn't do that, so my skin was still in tact. I just tried my best to suck it up, and continue working - but, unless I had ice on it, it hurt A LOT!

After my boss came in, she tried to help me a bit, and everyone kept asking me if I'm okay. I hate being a bother to everyone, so I tried to keep working. After a bit, my boss said it's okay if I go home... so... I agreed. I was doing everything really slowly anyways, and everyone just rushed to do it themselves.... Eh... I hate being like that.

My one co-worker was really concerned for me, and she called me twice today ^^;; I got home at 10, and, with ice on my hand, fell asleep. I was really tired (I was falling asleep on the bus), as I haven't been sleeping very much lately.... I'm so bad ^^;; My dad woke me up around 1 or 2 pm, and asked me about the burn (because I called my mom, and told her I came home early because of it - she must've told him) I was really tired, so I tried telling him the best I could, then said that it felt better. After, I went back to sleep and didn't wake up till 6:30pm!! I slept so much~~! But, when I woke up, my burn stopped hurting so much! It was good that I slept through most of the pain. Eh... it's still oozing stuff.... but I hope it will be okay tomorrow ^^;

Che... I wrote too much about that... don't worry, the burn is not really that horrible. It's still smaller than the previous one I had ^^

Yesterday, me and my lover went to the model shop, and I really wanted to try to get Minami again (the Lucky Star blind box)... So, since my lover has good luck with blind boxes, she choose all 3 boxes... SHE TRULY HAS GOOD LUCK!


Ah... I'm going to bed now... I feel dead tired right now. I need to have a healthier lifestyle.

So, I got a job. Nothing glamorous, or anything like that. I just really need to make some money, then I can worry about a better job - or, what I should be doing, sending my stuff out, and finding a real job. Eh... Anyways, I got a job at the Second Cup downtown, the one along Stephen Ave. I dunno... I guess I'm used to this kind of environment, and they were ready to hire immediately. The boss seems pretty cool, and, one of the best parts, there seems to be a lot of Japanese girls working there!! Hehehehe... ^__^;; Maybe I can make friends!

Even though it's not that fabulous of a job, it is a bit cool to say "I work at a coffee shop!" even though, it's not really that cool. Haha~ My boss said that I'll be starting at $10 an hour, which I pretty much expected, and that I'll have few hours at first, just to start training. I honestly don't think it'll be that difficult to do, since I was supervisor at A&W. My first shift is on Monday... ^^; I'm kind of excited~

I need to make money... I want to move out soon, and I have to pay some people back. Also, there are too many new figures coming that I want!! For example, the YOTSUBA DELUXE figure that I mentioned about in an earlier post. Apparently, it's up for preorder already!!! Kid Nemo had some pictures up for her~

I'm really excited about these releases!! There are still other Revoltech figures (like, Kuro Neko) and Figma figures (like Kyon and gang) that I'd like to get! Also, there are at least 6 or 7 Nendoroids I still need to get - ah! And that's not including Rin and Len~

Ah... buying figures is not cheap... tsk.

P.S. I'm not entirely proud of it... but I've been listening to the audio book of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. My sister loves this book (series, actually) and is excited for the movie. I tried to read it, but honestly, I don't really like the writing... so I'm just listening to it.

I'd say Twilight is the equivalent to High School Musical - GUILTY PLEASURES!

P.P.S. ....yeah.... I like High School Musical.... what?! You wanna fight? Haha....
