I was determined to finish the custom sitting legs today... and I did~! They aren't the best, and the paint job kind of sucks, but I have to say, I'm pretty proud of them~ This is my second custom Pinky piece. She isn't able to sit on her own, and I could've fixed that if I wanted to chop off her leg, and reattach it, but I decided not to... My dad gave me a bottle of semi-gloss black paint, so I thought it would be ideal for these pants... but the paint is too shiny compared to the rest of the Pinky... I need a more matte paint. For the sneakers, I used white acrylic paint, and then black marker for the detail hearts~ I also use sticky tac to help her sit up straight. So here is Rui once again, displaying the new legs in Kokoro's room...

I would love to get my hands on some better paint. It's okay, but it could have turned out better~ Now I need to work on my Yotsuba custom... did I mention that before? I don't think I have... I'll take pictures when I have a chance...

Sorry about the previous post... if I really feel the need to, maybe I'll explain... but for now, let's forget about that ^^; Thanks for your concern~ The other night, I was finally able to finish my tutorial for Kokoro's Room... I did it over a week, because I don't think I could sit there and work on it all in one night... I would've died.... I'm hoping that the tutorial clearly explains everything, even though there are times where I couldn't find an appropriate picture to describe what to do. Other than that, I think it pretty much shows you how to do everything in the room... I'm not posting the tutorial here, because that's just crazy to repost it... so please click the image below to be swept away to the Pinky:St forum where I posted it...



Let me know if you use it too~ Although, I'm not sure if anyone here would. I would love to see what you guys come up with. Ah, and let me know if you know a better way to do something in my tutorial... basically, I was going for lazy... haha ^__^

I started working on this room a couple of months ago, but was finally able to finish it on the Christmas break... This room was originally going to be for Caine, but I think Caine should have something classier.... so Kokoro busted in and took over the room... And she also forced Hana to visit...

This room is made in scale to Pinky:st dolls, as well as Sylvanian Families (Calico Critters) furniture... The structure of the room is made out of pieces of illustration boards, hot glued together. The floor is made out of painted, cut popcicle sticks, with drawn on pencil crayon grain. The wallpaper is some cute wrapping paper glued on carefully using rubber cement. The frame of the window and the baseboards are thin strips of illustration board, the glass in the window is actually cut pieces of overhead sheets. The window seat was a bit difficult to make, but it included more illustration board, hot glued into place, and fabric stuffed with cotton balls to make the seat. the curtains, comforter and pillows all made out of fabric.... and hot glued into place... ^__^ Enjoy the photos~

I really like how this room turned out~! And the window seat it just too cute~! It was so much fun to make everything in this room, and it's even more fun to take photos, and see how much it looks like an actual room~ It was alot of fun! I hope to make a kitchen room for the kitchen furniture I have... I also hope to make a tutorial for this room, and post it on the Pinky:st forum... ^^

I got another Pinky last week, I was just too lazy to take pictures and upload them... I got my Pinky:St ChoroQ Messerschmitt, and it came pretty quickly~! It's pretty cute, but now that I have it, I really want the repaint version... the colors are much more appealing, and the outfit is cute too~! Also, the pinky that comes with it is cute Moe~ This must be the fourth Kokoro I own... I don't mind though.. she's cute, and I love her expression. I was worried when I ordered the car that she wouldn't come with any sitting legs, and that seems to be the case... which kind of sucks... I wish they would release more Pinkys with sitting legs... anyways, as always, here are some photos:

I'm so tired now... I tried hard to wake up early today, and be on time for class, but due to the snowfall last night, the traffic was so backed up in my neighborhood~!! I was on the bus for an hour and a half, and we didn't even get onto Deerfoot yet~!! This bus ride should've only taken about 15 minutes to get to the station... Haa... I was so late for class.... and I feel so tired because of that....

There's a contest on the Pinky:St forum that I go to called SupaaKawaii!07, where you have to take photos of your Pinkys and then make a comic out of them. So of course, I decided to enter... the prizes include the Yukata repaints, the Eva v2 Rei and Asuka, and Kokoro with the Messerschmitt Car... I really want the Yukata repaints of Moe and Reina... I have no ball joint heads yet, and I also really love the new prints and colors on the yukatas. But, it's pretty doubtful that I'll win, because my comic is kind of plain... not too exciting... ^__^; But it is fun to enter the contest and see everyone else's entries... I would've loved to name it "My Neighbor Kokoro" to play off of "My Neighbor Totoro", but it didn't make that much sense.... since Yotsuba is the neighbor in this case. Anyways, I was able to use the Yotsuba figure that DCSheepy bought me from his trip to Taiwan and Japan... It was a lot of fun to do, and set up each scene~ Yotsuba is so fun to work with~~ Haha~

Still waiting for my Tamae repaint... I also bought Kokoro with the Messerschmitt Car the other day, because it was half off~ It originally went for $30 dollars, but went down to $15, which is great~ I was wondering though, does Kokoro come with sitting legs for the car? I kind of hope so, because I would love more sitting legs. Also, I love the top... I'm happy that her arms are like the Choro Q's. I've been playing with Flash a little bit lately, and so I decided to edit my banner that I use in my signature on the Pinky:St forum... I saw someone else on the forum use animation in their signature so they could show what the Pinky's they have/bought/wanted, so I thought that I'd so something similar. I wanted to make it a simple GIF, but the quality went down... eh... I wonder why... ( Bento... )Now I feel real hungry... it's almost lunch time... haha~

I've been kind of lazy with making lunches lately. I wanted to start doing them in the morning, since I have earlier shifts lately, but I just can't ever get up on time. I sleep until the last minute, and then quickly rush to catch the bus.... ^^;;; I don't know why I just don't go to bed earlier, but it's very difficult for me. I want to make it in the morning so it's fresh, because I don't like putting my lunch in the fridge at night... but this time, I put my lunch in the pantry - after all, a good bento doesn't need refrigeration or heating. I figure that I make my lunch so late anyways, by the time I eat it at 9 tomorrow, it'll still be good. Behold, my lunch for tomorrow~


Top Tier: Onigiri with tuna filling, leftover perogies fried up with a side of sour cream (kept in fridge till morning)
Bottom Tier: Scrambled eggs with veggies, potato and wiener mix, and then a couple of cookies. As well as my lovely little bunny~

I'm hoping that this bento will be tasty tomorrow... I'm worried that the eggs and potatoes won't keep well, and I know that the perogies will not stay crispy, which sucks... but as long as it tastes good, I won't complain~ ^__^ Anyways, I'm so lazy that last week, I only made one bento... This one I'm gonna share too, because I made some lovely crispy chicken....


The other day... I caught Kokoro and Q gossiping? I'm not quite sure... And yeah, I actually did find them this way... I think Kokoro tipped over into Q... ^__^;;

Ah, haven't posted the last couple days... I went over to my sister's house, because I had a couple days off from work... Mainly because of the Calgary Stampede~! Yay! Actually, seems like it's way too hyped up... I really only go there for the rides, and that's about it ^__^; This year, it was just me and my sister, and we spent all day on the rides we were comfortable with, haha~! Y'know, the safe rides... but mainly, the Tilt-a-Whirl! We both just love this ride, and we probably rode it more than 30 times for sure! We stayed past midnight, and spent about half an hour on the Tilt-a-Whirl. Since there was no line, we just stayed on until they had to pack up for the night.... haha~~ Anyways, I took a couple of Pinky's with me, and I thought I'd get a couple of shots.... In the end, I didn't take that many photos... tsk...


Before going to the Stampede, we went to sushi with a couple of my friends... Hana decided to join us, but was disappointed when she found out that she showed up too late... the food was okay, but I've had way better sushi!

Haaa... so tired... I really should be going to bed earlier when I have to wake up at 6am in the morning... tsk. Anyways, went shopping today, and bought a whole bunch of things for my bento-ing~ I even bought chicken! I've never ever really cook anything, so it was pretty different when I was frying up a little chicken for my lunch... When thinking about what to make, I just wanted to put everything I bought in there... but I really don't have the room. Kokoro helped me out a little this time (not really at all... you can't really expect help from her), but I suspect that she really just wanted a piece for herself...
