Me and my friends, apricot_kiss and panda_pi went for another (and perhaps, final) dolly shoot yesterday~! I've been really bad about giving attention to my pullips... I wonder if I should hang onto them as well... hmm... Anyways, it was a really nice day, and after eating at Joey's Tomatoes, we went down to the river for our photo shoot~ I brought all 3 of mine, Tsuge, Naomi and Hiro...

I also brought Yotsuba along and took some photos, but I'll save that for the next post~! It was really good to get out down to the river and play with my dolls again~ ^__^ I hope that we'll be able to do it again sometime... ^^;;;

Okay, finally getting off my lazy butt and posting some pictures from Vancouver. I took waaaay too many photos out there, so I'm only putting up the first day's photos (as well as the photos I took on the way there). Next year, I'm going to bring an extra memory card... although, the thought of uploading all those photos scare me... haha...


On our way there~ I live in Calgary, Alberta, and right next to us is BC (where Vancouver lies)... so we have to go through the mountains to get there... oh yeah, we went by bus.

Anyways, that wraps up day 1! There are 2 more days that I need to post, but most of the pictures are from the con, so it will probably be in one post together. Hopefully I can get that done soon... well, until then.... ^__^

Met up with apricot_kiss and panda_pi yesterday, and we did another photo shoot with our dollies... It was a bit chilly outside, and still snowy, so we tried to take some photos inside. We found a really nice, quite place with lots of plants and flowers... but after a while, a guy came along and told us we weren't allowed to take photos inside... -_-; After a while, we took a couple more photos outside... it was chilly ^^ But the photos are pretty cute~

So yesterday, I met up with panda_pi  and apricot_kiss  for a mini dollie meet~ It was pretty fun, and I was really happy to see everyone else's dolls, especially the Dals! My next doll will definately be a Dal... FOR SURE! We met up in China Town and then went down to Prince Island Park... took us a while to find a good spot for the shoot~ But, it turned out to be a good spot, and we stayed there. There were alot of people who walked by and watched us ^^;; I took a lot of pictures, but only selected the best ones to post... oho... here we go...

Now I have to get ready for the dinner with my coworkers... I plan to take lots of pictures there too~~ Hehe ^^

Fork! So my external hard drive died... and I'm not sure how. One day, I noticed I couldn't get into one of the folders... but I just ignored it. I wasn't too concerned. Then after a while, I couldn't see anything on my drive, though if I typed it in the address bar, I could find what I was looking. Then, just yesterday, everything was gone! GONE! Augh~ All my music and pictures~~!! Haaa... I dunno, I don't mind TOO much, because alot of that stuff is still on my laptop, and my music files are somehow backed up by iTunes on my main hard drive... but still! I tried formatting the external drive 500 MILLION times, but it refuses! I think the drive is just completely dead! Does anyone know how I can recover it? Anyways, I think I'll buy my lover's extra hard drive... sounds like a good deal~! ^^

So yeah, working on trying to save all the pictures from my flickr and photoshop accounts, as well as my DA account. Though I lost some psd files I was working on... oh well. There's nothing I can do about it now. I lost a whole bunch (I mean, A WHOLE BUNCH!) of music videos, but I can always download those again. I think the most important things that were erased were my recent photos and pictures. If I didn't upload them somewhere, then those are gone forever...

Anyways, I guess it's not so bad! And my new computer will be coming this week I believe~ Whoo hoo! I'm so excited~~ I have some other things coming in the mail too, such as my bus tickets~ Me and my sister are going to Winnipeg at the end of this month (actually, to Steinbach, but no one really knows where that is, eh?). The bus tickets were fairly cheap, and we really wanted to go out and visit our family. Not only that, but I really love it out there... everything feels much simpler. I can't wait to go!

Oh, the reason I'm going to because the place I work, Second Cup, is closing down in two weeks. Did I mention this before? Well, it's good ^^ I don't want to be stuck there for another 6 years~! It was like a nice summer job... and honestly, I'm getting tired of this job. It's just boring for me. I know everything now, and it's the same kind of environment as A&W - granted, that it is ALOT better than A&W. I like the staff (with one LAZY EXCEPTION! >_< TICK ME OFF) and the customers are pretty nice too. I like getting free drinks on my break, and I like the tips~ But I don't really make much there, and I just WORK TOO MUCH! I'm working 11 days in a row here~ That's why I haven't been online much... when I get home, I just want to sleep! Hahaha....

So, I'll finally post these pictures... they were taken last weekend (not the one that just past). We were going to go see Step Brothers, but the movie was sold out, so we went bowling instead. It was me, my sister, my lover, and my ex-coworker, who I shall name "A"~ Haha....


Here we are, all trying to be cool like Kanye West... or something! Hahah... "A" insisted on taking a lot of pictures... it was pretty funny!


Okay, that's all for today... I guess I'll start saving files onto my main hard drive, and keep prodding my dying external one to see if it'll suddenly want to start working again. LET'S HOPE MY COMPUTER ARRIVES SOON!!

So, yesterday, we went out for a picnic~!! Today is the General's last day in Calgary, so we thought we should do one last get together~ We all brought a bit of food, and met once again at Prince Island Park. I brought sandwiches, with tomatoes and pickles on the side, a bag of chips, coke and plates. It was a super nice day, and there was hardly any wind!! Which was awesome, because nothing flew away this time. It seemed like everyone else was there too, as there were tons of people tanning, and many others running around. It was really nice.... I tried to get more pictures taken this time, and made sure everyone else took a couple of pictures too ^__^

Once again... I censored my lover and her boyfriend due to their wishes... haha!!

Tomorrow is my first day of work at Second Cup... I hope things go well ^__^;

WHOOOO~~ I AM BACK FROM CHICAGO! It was a week, eh? I actually got back yesterday, but since I was all gross from riding on the bus for so long, I just stayed over at my sister's house. I think I've had enough bus for the rest of my life!! It's nice if the bus isn't too full, then I can have a 2-seater all to myself, and lie down, but when the bus is packed, it's very hard to sleep. Next time, I'm taking the plane!!

Anyways... I GOT TO SEE HALCALI!! Not only see them in concert, but also meet them, get their autograph, take a picture with them and give them a gift~~! I was and still am sooooo happy that I got to meet them~~ They were both so cute and shiny!!

I've been out for the last couple days... hanging out, staying over at my sister's house, and just generally being free from both school and work~!! It's lovely! I feel so relaxed lately, and I've started drawing more... I guess because it's stuff that I'm more interested in. I've reopened my doodle shop on Gaia, taking up a commission on Gaia, and also working on a Yotsuba animation. Now, I'm just trying to stay home a bit more, because I always spend money when I go out, and I really need to save up for the trip... Anyways, we went to Sushi Hiro Monday night, and had some delicious Shabu Shabu!

Gonna start working on a new picture for my avatar on Gaia... I want to update my shop a bit, since the current image is probably nearly 2 years old... ^^ I was thinking of bringing my PS2 to the basement, and pick up playing DDR again.... I need to get more active...

Yesterday, we spontaneously decided to go on a picnic! I haven't had a picnic in a looong time, and the weather was sooo nice (especially after the major snowfalls we've had lately) So everyone had to bring food (well... not everyone) and we met at Prince Island Park, and enjoyed a variety of food~! I made Okonomiyaki (my first try), rice crackers, and Peach Calpis. I also brought plates and forks... Anyways, I made sure to take a couple of pictures, though I wish I had taken more...
