Okay, finally~! I found a wig that suits Naomi~ I bought it from CanCan... When I bought it, I still had no idea what I wanted to do with her hair, but I thought I'd give it a chance. So I bought a dark red wig with side bangs. When I recieved it, I put it on her, but somehow, it still didn't fit her image. I finally realized it was because I was too attached to the bangs on her stock wig. They hid her eyebrows, therefore, making her a bit emotionless, which fits Naomi's personality. So, I got started cutting her bangs~~


As D pointed out, the hair really does pop the color of her eyes out~ So awesome! I was really scared, but I'm so glad it turned out well ^^ Tsuge will have another nosebleed after seeing her... ^^ haha~

I'm thinking about working on another animation... which is kind of bad, because I still need to finish my vocaloid meme, and now I have a real commission pending on DA... but..... eh....... I want to do something cute~~ I wonder if anyone can guess what I'm doing~~ Haha... Instead of Yotsuba, this short, short animation will feature Yuki Nagato from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...


Ahhhhh~~ So moe~~ This is just a quick sketch of the first frame. I don't know what music to set to this, or how long I should make it, since the movement only lasts 3-5 seconds... Maybe I can loop it? I give you a hint... the original animation is from Macross Frontier... haha

Also, I finally decided on a wig for Naomi... Although the wig is specially made for Blythes, I'm going to get it! I don't really care if it is a bit big on her head... if I have to, I'll just sew it up so it fits a bit tighter... This ebay shop has such cute wigs, and I'm determined to get one from there! So I bought it~~ You can see it here... I think it suits Naomi. Well.... I hope....

Haha... I was fooling around on facebook, and added the Chinese Zodiac application... I read up on my animal, the Ox, and it totally describes me:

Oh yeah, Heart of Gold! Actually, the first paragraph describes me very well... especially the "no respect for lazy or careless people". I get really angry when I see lazy people... I'm glad almost everyone at my job works hard - unlike my previous job. Also, under 'negative qualities' it lists 'eccentric'... what?! Is that really negative? Haha... I KNOW I'm eccentric....

Anyways, just thought that was interesting... I'm waiting for Lineage to finish updating.... haa... takes so long, and it times out every once in a while. Yeah, I'm gonna start playing Lineage again... sorry Maginobi...

Yesterday, I spent 3-4 hours cleaning my closest, for several reasons... 1. It needs it 2. I'm planning on moving soon, so it'll be easier 3. I want to have a garage sale. It feels so nice to clean everything and organize~~ My closet is so lovely now, with lots more room for more stuff~~! I still have to go through all my drawers, and all my art stuff...

Also, I received Naomi's obitsu yesterday, and may I say, it's niiiiiice~~ So soft~ And just so much more poseable and lovely~~~


I think this is the nicest female obitsu that you can get right now (for a good price)~ The body has a soft bust, torso and butt. I got the obitsu with a medium sized chest.


Oh yeah, I watched the first episode of Slayers Revolution today, finally, and I have to say.... TT______TT~~~~ So nostalgic~~ Aww... I really missed the characters~~ And is it just me, or did Zelgadis get prettier?! Ah~! I died when he first spoke~~ And I can't wait for Xellos to show up again~~ Awww..... <3<3<3

I think I'm gonna go play an hour or so of Mabinogi... ^^

So, the other day, the wigs came for Tsuge... thank goodness... I don't know how much more he could've avoided running into Naomi... ^__^ I guess I'll show you that eventually... and then, they will meet finally ^^ Hehe... Anyways, I bought two wigs for Tsuge, and they are both the same length, just different colors... And these wigs are really easy to style, as you can see below... it was really fun trying to style them, but now... which wig? Let me know what you think ^^


The first one is kind of more jpop-ish... the second is a bit cuter... But, I can always change the style of the wig... I personally like the darker wig on him... hmm

I got my obitsu in the mail the other day... it came really fast actually... I didn't expect it to arrive within a week~! So, I finally got around to giving Tsuge a new body~!  It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, though his neck is not too stable... I need to find a better rubber band, or some tape to support the neck a bit better....  This body is not as sculpted as his old one, but this one is much more flexible, and comes with interchangeable hands~! Of course, I had to rip off his hair in order to open up his head and switch bodies...

Bad photo is bad! Haha... It was much easier washing Tsuge's hair with it completely off his head... I didn't have to be afraid that water would get in his head. So now, he's sporting his stock wig, but soon, he will have some nice new pretty hair~~ He can't wait... I also want to buy him some clothes, but I think it'll be tough to find any clothes here... may have to buy them online... ^^;

I was determined to finish the custom sitting legs today... and I did~! They aren't the best, and the paint job kind of sucks, but I have to say, I'm pretty proud of them~ This is my second custom Pinky piece. She isn't able to sit on her own, and I could've fixed that if I wanted to chop off her leg, and reattach it, but I decided not to... My dad gave me a bottle of semi-gloss black paint, so I thought it would be ideal for these pants... but the paint is too shiny compared to the rest of the Pinky... I need a more matte paint. For the sneakers, I used white acrylic paint, and then black marker for the detail hearts~ I also use sticky tac to help her sit up straight. So here is Rui once again, displaying the new legs in Kokoro's room...

I would love to get my hands on some better paint. It's okay, but it could have turned out better~ Now I need to work on my Yotsuba custom... did I mention that before? I don't think I have... I'll take pictures when I have a chance...

I should be working on my homework right now... I have two projects due next week, and I've barely touched them... which sucks. But soon, it'll be Reading Week, and I can sleep in~~~ I can't wait~! Anyways, instead of actually working on my projects, I've been working on a new customized pinky part.... sitting legs! Yay! They are still pretty rough, but I think you get the general idea...


Rui's trying on these new legs... I have to be careful, because at this point, she keeps tipping over. I need to still cut and sand everything, and then paint the pants. I'm also thinking of repainting the shoes.

As well as working on some customization for pinkys, I've been looking into customizing my Lead Taeyang. I finally named him Tsuge, btw. Anyways, I really want to get him an obitsu body and a new wig, and even though the both don't cost that much, I don't really have money to spend on that right now. But, nonetheless, I tried washing and conditioning Tsuge's hair to make it a bit softer (because it was so stiff from the factory) but his hair in the back is still frizzy... ah well...


I also FINALLY switched over to a Flickr account... I've been meaning to for a while, because I just love the look of it, but I haven't really had time to check it out. It's pretty quick with uploading multiple pictures, and describing and tagging them. I also changed the look of the photos, which I guess no one cares about... but I like it~ Haha~

Okay okay, I'll try to get some work done before going to bed....

Sorry about the previous post... if I really feel the need to, maybe I'll explain... but for now, let's forget about that ^^; Thanks for your concern~ The other night, I was finally able to finish my tutorial for Kokoro's Room... I did it over a week, because I don't think I could sit there and work on it all in one night... I would've died.... I'm hoping that the tutorial clearly explains everything, even though there are times where I couldn't find an appropriate picture to describe what to do. Other than that, I think it pretty much shows you how to do everything in the room... I'm not posting the tutorial here, because that's just crazy to repost it... so please click the image below to be swept away to the Pinky:St forum where I posted it...



Let me know if you use it too~ Although, I'm not sure if anyone here would. I would love to see what you guys come up with. Ah, and let me know if you know a better way to do something in my tutorial... basically, I was going for lazy... haha ^__^

I started working on this room a couple of months ago, but was finally able to finish it on the Christmas break... This room was originally going to be for Caine, but I think Caine should have something classier.... so Kokoro busted in and took over the room... And she also forced Hana to visit...

This room is made in scale to Pinky:st dolls, as well as Sylvanian Families (Calico Critters) furniture... The structure of the room is made out of pieces of illustration boards, hot glued together. The floor is made out of painted, cut popcicle sticks, with drawn on pencil crayon grain. The wallpaper is some cute wrapping paper glued on carefully using rubber cement. The frame of the window and the baseboards are thin strips of illustration board, the glass in the window is actually cut pieces of overhead sheets. The window seat was a bit difficult to make, but it included more illustration board, hot glued into place, and fabric stuffed with cotton balls to make the seat. the curtains, comforter and pillows all made out of fabric.... and hot glued into place... ^__^ Enjoy the photos~

I really like how this room turned out~! And the window seat it just too cute~! It was so much fun to make everything in this room, and it's even more fun to take photos, and see how much it looks like an actual room~ It was alot of fun! I hope to make a kitchen room for the kitchen furniture I have... I also hope to make a tutorial for this room, and post it on the Pinky:st forum... ^^

Here's a bit of an update on the Pinky room I've been working on lately... Today, I was able to glue everything in place, glue the floorboards, glue the wallpaper on, work on the window seat, add the cushion to the window seat, and added base boards... So far, it's looking pretty good~! The wallpaper's pattern is a bit strong, but I think if I keep using solid colors for the fabrics, it won't matter... Also, the wallpaper doesn't look so busy when photos are taken closer... Anyways, I don't want to show you what the whole thing looks like with furniture in it, but here you go:


I still need to finish the windows... and I'd still like to make a blanket and pillow for the bed... Also, seems with the cushion, the sitting pinky won't be able to touch the floor... oh well... ^^


Now I'm going to sleep... I work at 7 tomorrow... haa...
