Hey you all... long time, eh? I know, I've been a bit preoccupied lately... Almost every night, I play Mabinogi, or participate in some kind of Mabinogi activity. I opened a shared blog for our guild, so we can post screencaps, videos, artwork, and share information. It's a pretty good success, I think! If you'd like to take a look, you can go see it here. I'm probably the number one contributor there, probably because I'm a geek. But the other members do post once in a while, which makes me happy~

I have so many photos I need to still put up... Some new figures, my trip back to Manitoba, and my more recent trip (last weekend) to Vancouver~~ Hopefully, I'll be able to pry myself away from the game for a couple of minutes to do that... ah.

So, my birthday just passed. I went over to my parents' place, and we had a bbq~! It was all really good, and it was really great to eat there again ^__^ Haha~ My parents gave me money, for when I go out to Vancouver~ Yay~! My lover was going to get me a new phone (since my old phone was actually a bday present from my sister) but in the end, I got it for free~ I really like my new phone~ It's so pretty~~ The only thing is... the midi's I have, it won't play. I don't know why... file format not accepted or something? Well... another year older...

On the weekend, we went to another con to sell our stuff... but since it was it's first year, there were hardly any people there... we didn't sell much at all. We just kind of sat there... and drew! I brought some cards and copics along (to do commissions...), but we just doodled all day... These are the results~

My lover also drew a sketch... but she hasn't finished it yet... I hope she does soon! It's really cute~ I want to post some screencaps from Mabinogi, but I'm lazy to look through them all... I take way too many screencaps...

Anyways, just stumbled on this song, but I really like it!!

So, while taking photos of my pullips, I also brought Yotsuba along. I've been suffering from some major Yotsuba withdrawl - due to no new chapters (probably because Azuma recently released the new edition manga of Azumanga Daioh). So, to cure this, I thought a nice photoshoot on her own would be awesome~ I really enjoy taking photos of her, because she always looks so cute, and I like to take macro shots... ^^ I want to do more of these, whenever I can...

Oh yeah, I forgot to post this up here... I finished another picture in the Nursery Rhyme series... This is Jack from Jack be Nimble. Now that I think about it, Jack is a pretty common name in Nursery Rhymes, as well as fairy tales. Next, I'm gonna do Jack and Jill... whenever I have the time.

I told you in a previous post that I've been playing waaay too much Mabinogi lately, and that I'd update with some new screencaps~ Well, I'm gonna do it! Get ready for it!! First off, I rebirthed my human girl, who was pretty ugly at first... she was totally default, and didn't have much going for her. I made her back in the day, when Mabinogi first came out (well, it wasn't THAT back in the day)  So I rebirthed her, using a premium human card, and made her cute~ She's a pretty good tank now... and I play her almost as often as I play my elf.

Also, I did a new picture today... this one is based off of Little Bo Peep. I just keep sketching different nursery rhyme characters... so, maybe look forward to seeing more? The color scheme on this one is pretty bright, which isn't what I usually do ^^;;

So now I'm all alone... because my lover just left tonight for the con in Winnipeg. She'll be gone for 5 days, and I'll be so lonely ^^ Haha~ It's nice to have the place to myself though... ^^; Ah well, guess I should get some sleep~ See you later!

I've been trying to get into drawing again lately... I really haven't been drawing much, and I feel like I've gotten worse. I need to keep at it, even if I'm just doodling! The other night, I tried out my copic markers again by drawing a cute little doodle of Yotsuba. I haven't used markers in a looooong time now, and I can't even remember the last time I inked a picture. It's kind of sad ^^; Anyways, it was a bit of practice... I touched it up in Photoshop, as I smudge some of the ink while coloring it


Then today, I was thinking of ideas for children's books. I really would like to do my own, but I just have no ideas. I know nursery rhymes are done to death, but I thought it would be fun to do my own. Maybe take a couple of rhymes, and spin it around? I dunno... anyways, I created a Little Miss Muffet character, and she was so cute, I drew her up in Photoshop~

I really like the color scheme for this one, which I got from a lovely site called COLOURlovers, and has super awesome colors and color schemes! It was really fun to take a color scheme and apply it to my character... ^^ It turned out pretty awesome. BTW, Miss Muffet was not scared away by the spider.... she simply got up to fetch more curds and whey for her pet spider ^^ Heehee... I dunno...

Sorry, my bad... I know I've been avoiding posting here, because... .... I'm lazy. So yes, I have moved, and yes, I have taken pictures... but that's for another post ^^; Last weekend was Otafest (an anime convention in Calgary) and me and my lover had a table in the artist alley~ We made quite a bit, but since we showed up late both days, we missed out a little. It was pretty fun, and there were soooo many cosplays. Kind of unusual, but I didn't spend that much money this year. I bought a couple of pins and keychains from artist alley, and then bought a (cheap!) figure~ Hooray~ Anyways, I took lots of photos... of cosplayers...

It's a bit late posting this, but after work, making lunch, working out and shower, I finally have a chance to post... Didn't do anything special this year, because I'm still single... but I did give my lover some chocolates. For some reason, I ended up doing 3 Valentine's Day pictures... not sure why... maybe I'm in a lovey mood? Haha...


Yotsuba handed out some Valentine's Day cards.... poor Yanda.  What did he expect anyways?  Seems like in the latest chapter, Yanda is trying to get on Yotsuba's good side... but, she still hates him.... haha~

Besides that... if I ever do have a Valentine's, I will never EVER make them get me chocolates or a card... I don't really care for all that. I just would like flowers... haha ^^ Anyways, people make too big of a deal out of this holiday... Haha... But I hope you had a good Valentine's Day~

This is a little late (haha... just like Halloween) but Merry Christmas~ I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing day with their loved ones~ I know I did ^__^ I'll post later about it, and some of the presents I received.... ^__^

Anyways, here's a last minute drawing of Yotsuba, opening a gift from Santa... ^^ I would've done more, but I was working too much...

I did a picture of Yotsuba after reading chapter 57~ So cute!! The story wasn't entirely funny this time, but it was still cute and super sweet. Starts off with Yotsuba playing with Ena and her teddy bears. Yotsuba constantly calls one of the bears Duralumin, and Ena gets upset, saying that her name is Julietta~ Yotsuba seems pretty disappointed by this, but then her father brings her along on a couple of errands. While out, she spots a teddy bear shop, and her father decides to buy her a bear of her own~



Aww... so shiny~ In the end, she finds the perfect bear, and names it Duralumin... it's pretty simple, but Yotsuba is so cute... so I drew this...

I also have it posted on DA here. I really enjoy drawing her~ Makes me happy ^__^ The world would be a better place if everyone knew about Yotsuba~ Hahaha.... <3
