Hey you all... long time, eh? I know, I've been a bit preoccupied lately... Almost every night, I play Mabinogi, or participate in some kind of Mabinogi activity. I opened a shared blog for our guild, so we can post screencaps, videos, artwork, and share information. It's a pretty good success, I think! If you'd like to take a look, you can go see it here. I'm probably the number one contributor there, probably because I'm a geek. But the other members do post once in a while, which makes me happy~

Anyways, this post is just a dump for Mabinogi related stuffz... Enjoy it!

I doodled all my characters one day, at work... I have 6 of them now! I mostly just play the two...

Just finished this today... it's a present for Dahldahl and Shimakun, as they are getting married in the game~

Um... this one is pretty sad... I carved my first ever Jack o' lantern, based on this face! So on that note, hope you all have a Happy Halloween!

I have so many photos I need to still put up... Some new figures, my trip back to Manitoba, and my more recent trip (last weekend) to Vancouver~~ Hopefully, I'll be able to pry myself away from the game for a couple of minutes to do that... ah.

Oh yeah... forgot to post this... This is the first cover of the first issue of Mabinogi Times, or MT... There is lots of juicy gossip in this one! But don't worry~ I have a life, and I will not be writing articles for MT... haha... Just making fake covers. Btw, if you don't know, or don't remember, my character that I play on Mabinogi is the male elf in the middle... He is a free lover, and hits on many people... he doesn't hit on children though. I'm such a geek, that I'll probably be making covers every month! Haha~

Birthday + Doodles...

So, my birthday just passed. I went over to my parents' place, and we had a bbq~! It was all really good, and it was really great to eat there again ^__^ Haha~ My parents gave me money, for when I go out to Vancouver~ Yay~! My lover was going to get me a new phone (since my old phone was actually a bday present from my sister) but in the end, I got it for free~ I really like my new phone~ It's so pretty~~ The only thing is... the midi's I have, it won't play. I don't know why... file format not accepted or something? Well... another year older...

On the weekend, we went to another con to sell our stuff... but since it was it's first year, there were hardly any people there... we didn't sell much at all. We just kind of sat there... and drew! I brought some cards and copics along (to do commissions...), but we just doodled all day... These are the results~

I'm really in love with PuchinP's (Numtack05) latest story. The music is so nice, and I like how all the characters are portrayed~ Also, the lyrics are kind of interesting ^__^ I created a playlist of his current story on Youtube and posting it here, for your viewing pleasure... if you are interested! Yotsuba and Nature

So, while taking photos of my pullips, I also brought Yotsuba along. I've been suffering from some major Yotsuba withdrawl - due to no new chapters (probably because Azuma recently released the new edition manga of Azumanga Daioh). So, to cure this, I thought a nice photoshoot on her own would be awesome~ I really enjoy taking photos of her, because she always looks so cute, and I like to take macro shots... ^^ I want to do more of these, whenever I can...

Me and my friends, apricot_kiss and panda_pi went for another (and perhaps, final) dolly shoot yesterday~! I've been really bad about giving attention to my pullips... I wonder if I should hang onto them as well... hmm... Anyways, it was a really nice day, and after eating at Joey's Tomatoes, we went down to the river for our photo shoot~ I brought all 3 of mine, Tsuge, Naomi and Hiro...

Me and my lover went downtown yesterday to visit the model shop... feels like a while since we've been there. Anyways, new stuff~ And since I had some extra money (not the money I made in Edmonton), I decided to buy a Nendoroid and a figure~~~ So, I took some proper pictures, including the boxes, which I haven't done in a while... So I went to work for a vendor at the Edmonton con this weekend. My lover works for him every summer at different cons, but this is only the second time I worked for him (although, I think the first time I was working for his brother). Basically we unpack everything, sell it, and pack it all back up afterwards. I don't think I care much for all the packing and unpacking, but it was fun to sell the stuff to people who like it - finding people with your same interests~ I also made some good money - better than if I worked at Shoppers all 3 days... And, I also got my travel, hotel and food paid for~ So, I think it was worth it.

I bought a couple of doujinshi... 2 Azumanga Daioh and one Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... they are all clean ^^ Haha~ I also bought a couple manga. I didn't spend much money, mainly because I didn't really get a chance to look around. Me and my lover (and fredericayang was there as well) sold our buttons... but I didn't sell that much this time. Oh well, at least I sold some!

Mabinogi caps + Little Bo Peep

I told you in a previous post that I've been playing waaay too much Mabinogi lately, and that I'd update with some new screencaps~ Well, I'm gonna do it! Get ready for it!! First off, I rebirthed my human girl, who was pretty ugly at first... she was totally default, and didn't have much going for her. I made her back in the day, when Mabinogi first came out (well, it wasn't THAT back in the day) So I rebirthed her, using a premium human card, and made her cute~ She's a pretty good tank now... and I play her almost as often as I play my elf.

A couple of pretty shots to start off~

My first time in Emain Macha... it's pretty there, but not many people hang out in this city... We usually hang out in Dunburton.

For July 4th, we had an Independence Day Event~ You got fireworks which you could shoot off~ If it got really high, you got a present, which usually contain either clothes or potions. You could sell the clothes for a pretty penny, or keep em for yourself...

I got a second pet, a red panda, which I named Akakaka~ He's pretty fast and strong, and so cute~ I think he's stronger than Shirororo, my ostrich.

My third pet, a gnu named Grahamiwhami~ He's not strong and not very fast, but he's good for herbing~ You can take the herbs that grow on him, and make potions out of them ^^

My lover met someone who we now hang out with almost everytime we play~ We call her Dahl, and she is super cute~~

...or not... hahah~~ This is our favorite face - it's called 'perv'~

Even the General shows up from time to time with his fro-tastic character~ Looking all souped up in his armor~ His fro shapes to whatever is on it...

Trying to shoot the enemies... if you shot them while they are powering up their magic shields, you were able to learn how to do the shields too! We died many, many times.... but we all got magic shields!

A nice shot during the watermelon event! I should've taken more caps of this event. Anyways, we had to smash watermelons, and in return, we earned bathing suits and cat ear muffs~ Most of the times though, you'd either get a book, or a mob..... and sometimes those HORRIBLE blue ghosts... they are so scary!! Even if you run from them, if they were after you once, they remember you, and will keep warping and chasing after you... just, stay away from them.

The other night, I finally managed to upgrade my music so I can jam~! Here the three of us are playing together... either some Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross song... ^^

The name of our group is called PERV*PERV plus-CHU~ And we enjoy making the perv face while we play... one day, we'll be famous!

Today was the last day to buy these limited birds~! So, me and my lover each bought one! We can fly~! It's pretty awesome~ I named him BoinkBoink... ahaha ^^

That's all for the Mabinogi shots... hopefully, I'll keep posting them up as I play. Oh yeah! As well as the new updates in the game, they now have the option to record video~ So maybe I'll post some of those up ^^ Some of them are pretty funny ... and some of them are of us performing~

Also, I did a new picture today... this one is based off of Little Bo Peep. I just keep sketching different nursery rhyme characters... so, maybe look forward to seeing more? The color scheme on this one is pretty bright, which isn't what I usually do ^^;;

I've been trying to get into drawing again lately... I really haven't been drawing much, and I feel like I've gotten worse. I need to keep at it, even if I'm just doodling! The other night, I tried out my copic markers again by drawing a cute little doodle of Yotsuba. I haven't used markers in a looooong time now, and I can't even remember the last time I inked a picture. It's kind of sad ^^; Anyways, it was a bit of practice... I touched it up in Photoshop, as I smudge some of the ink while coloring it

Then today, I was thinking of ideas for children's books. I really would like to do my own, but I just have no ideas. I know nursery rhymes are done to death, but I thought it would be fun to do my own. Maybe take a couple of rhymes, and spin it around? I dunno... anyways, I created a Little Miss Muffet character, and she was so cute, I drew her up in Photoshop~

I really like the color scheme for this one, which I got from a lovely site called COLOURlovers, and has super awesome colors and color schemes! It was really fun to take a color scheme and apply it to my character... ^^ It turned out pretty awesome. BTW, Miss Muffet was not scared away by the spider.... she simply got up to fetch more curds and whey for her pet spider ^^ Heehee... I dunno...

Okay, gotta go to bed... I've been playing waaaay too much Mabinogi lately, and seems like I can't get much else done once I turn the game on... tsk... I'll probably post some screenshots here sometime...

I bought the Haruhi rocker PVC figure~~ She's really well detailed, and I really do like Haruhi (though I like Yuki more, which I will get too~) I probably will never get the Mikuru figure though... seriously, a tambourine? What? Haha... ^^;

I've been back from Manitoba for a while now, but I've been a bit forgetful... I forgot that I still needed to post pictures of the things I bought in Vancouver~ So, here we go~

The most awesome store ever, Book Off~ I now wish I had bought more manga from them~ Most of the stuff there is used, but they are in excellent condition! Most manga was priced at $2 each~~ My favorite manga I bought are the two at the bottom left hand corner... the stories are just so weird! Like Azumanga Daioh, but even odder!

Tokimeki Girl's Side illustration book and the first Card Captor Sakura art book~ Both from Book off~

Photo book from MatsuJun's movie.... (I won't tell you the name ^^;;;) and a cute character/illustration book from the people behind Bon Voyage characters (which was only $2!!)...

Some items from Daiso (a 200 yen store, which is like a $2 store, but AWESOME), a couple of cute figures from the Bon Voyage series, and two cute Hetalia keychains from artist alley... Holy Roman Empire and Italy~

I bought this figma at AE~ It's Kagami (from Lucky Star) cosplaying Miku Hatsune~ Although this figure is legit (not fake), seems like it's of poorer quality. The joints all move really easily, and one arm falls off easily ^^;;; I'm not too pleased with it, so if anyone wishes to buy her, please let me know ^^;

Vancouver - Day 2 and 3

Okay, Day 2 and 3~! Even though this is a huuuge post, I need to make this quick~ I'm trying to pack as I write this. I'm going on another little trip to Manitoba (more specifically, Steinbach) to visit my grandparents and family~ I'm excited, because I always like going to visit them ^__^ Steinbach (and Winnipeg) are waaaay more relaxed then Calgary... ^^ Okay okay, I'm posting~~

And when we were wrapping up Artist Alley, I asked these two for a photo~~ If you are a member on DA, then surely you've seen these two's artworks before~~ Kurot and Kidchan~~ Too bad I didn't get KL-Chan in the picture... ^^ (sorry if I mixed Kurot and KL-chan... I'm not entirely sure who is who, since they were sitting together... ^^;;; ) They are sooo cute~~~

After the con, we went to Book Off again, and then had some ramen (or the other way around)

After we packed up, we had to go catch the bus back to Calgary... we left around midnight ^^ These are a couple pictures on the way back home...

Either the clouds were very low, or the mountains were really high~ haha!

And that wraps up Vancouver and Anime Evolution~ Vancouver was very pretty and felt so nice~! The ocean was awesome, and the place felt very relaxed~! The only bad thing about Vancouver were the creepy people. I have to admit, I feel safer walking downtown Calgary at night than I do in downtown Vancouver... ^^ Anyways, I will still do a post on the things I bought... I must go now and drop my luggage off at my parents house~~ I might take some pictures in Manitoba, we'll see ^^ So see you in a week~

Vancouver - Day 1

Okay, finally getting off my lazy butt and posting some pictures from Vancouver. I took waaaay too many photos out there, so I'm only putting up the first day's photos (as well as the photos I took on the way there). Next year, I'm going to bring an extra memory card... although, the thought of uploading all those photos scare me... haha...

On our way there~ I live in Calgary, Alberta, and right next to us is BC (where Vancouver lies)... so we have to go through the mountains to get there... oh yeah, we went by bus.

The snow~!! It was so awesome to see all the snow trails down the mountains....

A lake... I'm sorry... I'm bad at Geography, so I don't even know what lake this is... (or river... perhaps?)

Taking photos of the mountains doesn't do it justice... when you are there, you just feel so tiny compared to the mountains and alllll the trees! Anyways, the trip took about 15 hours or so...

In Vancouver~! We stayed at the General's house while we were out there... Pretty much how I imagined it... pretty close... ^^

The ocean~!! Not only is this my first time going to BC, and Vancouver, but this is my first time seeing the ocean~! It's really big, if you haven't seen it... just so you know.

I got the Okonomi one~~ Kind of expensive, but it was really tasty~!! I wish I took a picture of it before I ate it...

Finally!! At Book Off~~ This is a used book store, which carries used manga and artboooks, and other Japanese things...

I knew we were at the right place when I saw this in the window.... MATSUJUUUUN~~~~

Inside. One of the manga aisles. The used manga were only $2 each!! I really regret not buying more... like Otomen and the Japanese copies of Azumanga Daioh... how sad.

Our baskets half way through. We spent about 2 hours there... and then another 2 hours on the last day. I will post what I bought later... ^^ haha

After dropping off our purchases at the General's place, we went to this mall in Richmond...

They had so many AWESOME shops! This was a miniature store, selling all those blind box miniature's for dolls. Next to this store was a doll/model store....

Gacha store~ I bought a couple of blind boxes from here...

We didn't go in here, but holy!

A store just selling Hello Kitty items~ I bought my sister a souvenir from here...

We also went to Daiso, which is a 200 yen store - a $2 store~ I forgot to take a picture of it, but that place was awesome!!! Most everything is $2, unless marked otherwise. I bought a bit from there too, which I'll post later.

From here on are some bad photos... after the sun goes down, the photo quality is horrible.

When we got back from the mall, we got to meet the General's friends~ We hung out on the rooftop for a bit...

After everyone was gathered, we went to a Japanese bar/pub! It was awesome! This place was totally Japanese, and when we entered, all the staff immediately stopped what they were doing and shouted "Irrashaimase" and bowed~ Awesome ^//////^ <3 Anyways, this is our table...

Bad photos are bad... I would post more, but most of them turned out as blurs...

I ordered Korokke... if you ever saw my bento posts, I attempted to make these myself. So, I really wanted to try a REAL one... it was tasty! ^__^

The General's dish... some kind of sashimi (raw fish) dish with fish cracker/chips, with a side of a raw egg. The girl (who's name I can't remember now) who was sitting next to him got the same thing later. She didn't want her raw egg, so I said that I would. I already was kind of drunk... and yup... I swallowed the whole egg! Haha~ But it was a tiny egg, so it's not that epic...

Ah! Takoyaki~! I actually really like takoyaki, though I don't like octopus... I guess since the octopus is so little, I don't really notice it.... The dish next to the takoyaki is bacon wrapped asparagus, which was tasty too!

Haha~~ She was really entertaining! She was just so weird and funny~

An awesome photo I manage to capture~! They all seem to be dazzled by the flash of the camera~ haha... Looks like a classical painting or something ... their poses ^^

The end of the night~! Even though we just met them, they were all fun and cool people~! It was really awesome hanging out with them~ I got kind of drunk though... hahahaha ^^;;; Scared myself to death as we were walking back to the General's place afterwards.... I almost "tripped" over a empty plastic bag and lunged over it! I dunno... I didn't recognize what it was, and I thought I was going to trip on it... haha ^^;; My heart was racing for many minutes after that... ^^;;

Anyways, that wraps up day 1! There are 2 more days that I need to post, but most of the pictures are from the con, so it will probably be in one post together. Hopefully I can get that done soon... well, until then.... ^__^

Ah ah ah ah ah! I just found out~~ Kiyohiko Azuma is working on another manga series for Azumanga Daioh~~~ Well, if you don't know Azumanga Daioh, quickly, google it, then watch it or read it! Kiyohiko is the one who does Yotsuba, in case you weren't aware! So, this is how he makes it up to us for missing out on chapter 61 of Yotsubato! because of Golden Week~~ By working on Azumanga Daioh Hoshuu~~~~~ ^__^ I'm really happy!!

It feels a little nostalgic... I remember when I first watched Azumanga Daioh! It was meant to be! Honestly, these are the types of anime/manga that I really really enjoy! I'm just really happy! It's also nice to look at the current chapters and see Yotsuba's face in Chiyo-chan's... ^^; Hehe.... Btw, the first two chapters are online, and also, very nicely, translated~~ If you are interested in checking them out, this site has them up and is pretty easy to navigate.

Also, in other news that makes me really happy - Kago Ai is back in singing~ Kago Ai used to be a member of Morning Musume, and once she graduated from the group, her and Tsuji Nozomi formed a cute group called "W"~ They were both so cute, and their songs were so upbeat and cute! Then there was a "scandal"... Kago was caught smoking - under-aged. So, she was suspended for a while, but then, there was another "scandal"!! She was caught leaving a hotel with some guy. So, she was completely kicked out from Hello! Project... how sad. But seems like she's doing well now, and last I heard, she plays a part in a Chinese movie that should be coming out next year (?) I believe.... Well, just now, I found out that she is singing again~~ And she sounds really cute~~ And so mature ^^ I really like this song....

I needed to post these now, or else I would forget... because I'm like that.... and lazy. But anyways, putting that aside, I did get back from Vancouver on Monday night, and I took tons of pictures~! But those will be saved for another post... hopefully sometime this week.... I hope.... ^^

Been playing Mabinogi lately~ I played it a while back (don't know if I mentioned that before) but I didn't really get too interested in it. But, my lover wanted to play a free online game, so I suggested Mabinogi... and now, we are kind of addicted to it. Even though I already had a character, I made a new one - an elf!! A shota elf... haha ^^;

Lately, I've been watching anime again... I really don't watch much, because I don't really have patience to sit down and watch it. The last anime I really watched was Lucky Star and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... I try watching other things, but I usually drift away... Probably because I'm very selective when watching anime. I just like the everyday, school life anime... I like anime with no real plot, but just showing daily life ^^ And if it's funny, that's even better~~ So of course, that would make K-ON the perfect anime to watch~~ ^^ If you haven't seen it yet, please take a look at the opening...

Thanks for watching... if you didn't, shame on you~ The story is kind of cute... about some high school girls that joined the Light Music club. They needed another member to keep the club afloat, so the first girl that came to them was immediately accepted~ Even though... she doesn't know how to play any instruments. So basically, the main character is learning the guitar, and they are forming a band, and playing... and just being cute~ The characters are all so cute~ And so is the animation... So, expect to see some fanart... haha~

Moe Moe.... KYUN~

Also, I'm watching the second season of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya~!!! There doesn't seem to be an opening yet for it... at least, not that I can find... but you should check it out if you liked the first season~!

And lastly, I'm also on the Hetalia train... watching the anime. ^^ It's so cute~~ All the characters are super cute~~! I love Germany and Italy together... and China is cute~ And although he hasn't shown up yet, I like Canada... ^^ Of course. To end this post, here's the cute ending of Hetalia...

Gotta post more regularly again... ^^;; I'm sucking at it lately...

So, anyways, I'm posting up pictures of our place~ We live in a condo... and even though it's an older place, and we had a lot of headaches when we first moved in (like... waiting for the carpet and lino to get completed, and getting a new washing machine) it feels so nice to finally have my (our) own place~~ I felt really homesick at first (because I'm pretty attached to my parents) but since I moved in with my lover, I feel pretty okay~ We just went out the other day and bought new desks, and I bought a display case for all my figures~

Sorry, my bad... I know I've been avoiding posting here, because... .... I'm lazy. So yes, I have moved, and yes, I have taken pictures... but that's for another post ^^; Last weekend was Otafest (an anime convention in Calgary) and me and my lover had a table in the artist alley~ We made quite a bit, but since we showed up late both days, we missed out a little. It was pretty fun, and there were soooo many cosplays. Kind of unusual, but I didn't spend that much money this year. I bought a couple of pins and keychains from artist alley, and then bought a (cheap!) figure~ Hooray~ Anyways, I took lots of photos... of cosplayers...

Wow... I haven't posted in a while... Guess I've been kind of busy (actually, just lazy). There is no real excuse for not posting, I just haven't felt like it much - but I guess I'll update (for anyone who cares, haha!). My throat was pretty sore a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty bad, so I called in to work, telling them I would be unable to work in the morning. When I woke in the morning, I couldn't talk! So I had laryngitis for 2 days, and all I could do was whisper.

So, I've been working a bit, and drawing a bit. I'm trying to get ready for Otafest. Otafest is an anime convention here in Calgary, and this year, me and my lover are participating in the Artist Alley. One year, I made some bookmarks, and sat with one of the vendors and sold them there~ I didn't make that many, but I sold nearly all of them~! I was really surprised! So I hope that it turns out good this year~ I'll probably post some of my work whenever I get around to actually finishing any of it ^^; Kind of getting tight, but I do manage to finish on time... somehow. That's how I got through college~ Haha~

Also, I'm moving next week~!! Oh, it seems so sudden~ But we've been planning for a long while already... Me and my lover have found a condo for a really good price and in a great location~! I'm so excited~! I've already started packing some stuff... and I realize that I really DO have too many books (manga... yeah, I know... it's sad). Anyways, I'll be taking pictures on moving day, and then afterwards, when we've settled in~! OH MAN I'M EXCITED~! Finally time to be independent~! ....aw... I'm gonna miss my parents....

So, now I'm gonna try really, really hard to work on some Otafest stuff... it would be lovely if I could get most of it done before I move... ^^;;;
