Okay, Day 2 and 3~! Even though this is a huuuge post, I need to make this quick~ I'm trying to pack as I write this. I'm going on another little trip to Manitoba (more specifically, Steinbach) to visit my grandparents and family~ I'm excited, because I always like going to visit them ^__^ Steinbach (and Winnipeg) are waaaay more relaxed then Calgary... ^^ Okay okay, I'm posting~~

And that wraps up Vancouver and Anime Evolution~ Vancouver was very pretty and felt so nice~! The ocean was awesome, and the place felt very relaxed~! The only bad thing about Vancouver were the creepy people. I have to admit, I feel safer walking downtown Calgary at night than I do in downtown Vancouver... ^^ Anyways, I will still do a post on the things I bought... I must go now and drop my luggage off at my parents house~~ I might take some pictures in Manitoba, we'll see ^^ So see you in a week~

Okay, finally getting off my lazy butt and posting some pictures from Vancouver. I took waaaay too many photos out there, so I'm only putting up the first day's photos (as well as the photos I took on the way there). Next year, I'm going to bring an extra memory card... although, the thought of uploading all those photos scare me... haha...


On our way there~ I live in Calgary, Alberta, and right next to us is BC (where Vancouver lies)... so we have to go through the mountains to get there... oh yeah, we went by bus.

Anyways, that wraps up day 1! There are 2 more days that I need to post, but most of the pictures are from the con, so it will probably be in one post together. Hopefully I can get that done soon... well, until then.... ^__^

Ah ah ah ah ah! I just found out~~ Kiyohiko Azuma is working on another manga series for Azumanga Daioh~~~ Well, if you don't know Azumanga Daioh, quickly, google it, then watch it or read it! Kiyohiko is the one who does Yotsuba, in case you weren't aware! So, this is how he makes it up to us for missing out on chapter 61 of Yotsubato! because of Golden Week~~ By working on Azumanga Daioh Hoshuu~~~~~ ^__^ I'm really happy!!



It feels a little nostalgic... I remember when I first watched Azumanga Daioh! It was meant to be! Honestly, these are the types of anime/manga that I really really enjoy! I'm just really happy! It's also nice to look at the current chapters and see Yotsuba's face in Chiyo-chan's... ^^; Hehe.... Btw, the first two chapters are online, and also, very nicely, translated~~ If you are interested in checking them out, this site has them up and is pretty easy to navigate.

Also, in other news that makes me really happy - Kago Ai is back in singing~ Kago Ai used to be a member of Morning Musume, and once she graduated from the group, her and Tsuji Nozomi formed a cute group called "W"~ They were both so cute, and their songs were so upbeat and cute! Then there was a "scandal"... Kago was caught smoking - under-aged. So, she was suspended for a while, but then, there was another "scandal"!! She was caught leaving a hotel with some guy. So, she was completely kicked out from Hello! Project... how sad. But seems like she's doing well now, and last I heard, she plays a part in a Chinese movie that should be coming out next year (?) I believe.... Well, just now, I found out that she is singing again~~ And she sounds really cute~~ And so mature ^^ I really like this song....


I needed to post these now, or else I would forget... because I'm like that.... and lazy. But anyways, putting that aside, I did get back from Vancouver on Monday night, and I took tons of pictures~! But those will be saved for another post... hopefully sometime this week.... I hope.... ^^

Been playing Mabinogi lately~ I played it a while back (don't know if I mentioned that before) but I didn't really get too interested in it. But, my lover wanted to play a free online game, so I suggested Mabinogi... and now, we are kind of addicted to it. Even though I already had a character, I made a new one - an elf!! A shota elf... haha ^^;

Lately, I've been watching anime again... I really don't watch much, because I don't really have patience to sit down and watch it. The last anime I really watched was Lucky Star and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... I try watching other things, but I usually drift away... Probably because I'm very selective when watching anime. I just like the everyday, school life anime... I like anime with no real plot, but just showing daily life ^^ And if it's funny, that's even better~~ So of course, that would make K-ON the perfect anime to watch~~ ^^ If you haven't seen it yet, please take a look at the opening...


Thanks for watching... if you didn't, shame on you~ The story is kind of cute... about some high school girls that joined the Light Music club. They needed another member to keep the club afloat, so the first girl that came to them was immediately accepted~ Even though... she doesn't know how to play any instruments. So basically, the main character is learning the guitar, and they are forming a band, and playing... and just being cute~ The characters are all so cute~ And so is the animation... So, expect to see some fanart... haha~

Also, I'm watching the second season of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya~!!! There doesn't seem to be an opening yet for it... at least, not that I can find... but you should check it out if you liked the first season~!

And lastly, I'm also on the Hetalia train... watching the anime. ^^ It's so cute~~ All the characters are super cute~~! I love Germany and Italy together... and China is cute~ And although he hasn't shown up yet, I like Canada... ^^ Of course. To end this post, here's the cute ending of Hetalia...

So, anyways, I'm posting up pictures of our place~ We live in a condo... and even though it's an older place, and we had a lot of headaches when we first moved in (like... waiting for the carpet and lino to get completed, and getting a new washing machine) it feels so nice to finally have my (our) own place~~ I felt really homesick at first (because I'm pretty attached to my parents) but since I moved in with my lover, I feel pretty okay~ We just went out the other day and bought new desks, and I bought a display case for all my figures~

Next month, we are going to Vancouver~ Hooray~ We are going to attend Anime Evolution, and hopefully sell some of our leftover stuff there.... ^^; Mostly, we just want to go shopping and visit the General... haha~

Sorry, my bad... I know I've been avoiding posting here, because... .... I'm lazy. So yes, I have moved, and yes, I have taken pictures... but that's for another post ^^; Last weekend was Otafest (an anime convention in Calgary) and me and my lover had a table in the artist alley~ We made quite a bit, but since we showed up late both days, we missed out a little. It was pretty fun, and there were soooo many cosplays. Kind of unusual, but I didn't spend that much money this year. I bought a couple of pins and keychains from artist alley, and then bought a (cheap!) figure~ Hooray~ Anyways, I took lots of photos... of cosplayers...

Wow... I haven't posted in a while... Guess I've been kind of busy (actually, just lazy). There is no real excuse for not posting, I just haven't felt like it much - but I guess I'll update (for anyone who cares, haha!). My throat was pretty sore a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty bad, so I called in to work, telling them I would be unable to work in the morning. When I woke in the morning, I couldn't talk! So I had laryngitis for 2 days, and all I could do was whisper.

So, I've been working a bit, and drawing a bit. I'm trying to get ready for Otafest. Otafest is an anime convention here in Calgary, and this year, me and my lover are participating in the Artist Alley. One year, I made some bookmarks, and sat with one of the vendors and sold them there~ I didn't make that many, but I sold nearly all of them~! I was really surprised! So I hope that it turns out good this year~ I'll probably post some of my work whenever I get around to actually finishing any of it ^^; Kind of getting tight, but I do manage to finish on time... somehow. That's how I got through college~ Haha~

Also, I'm moving next week~!! Oh, it seems so sudden~ But we've been planning for a long while already... Me and my lover have found a condo for a really good price and in a great location~! I'm so excited~! I've already started packing some stuff... and I realize that I really DO have too many books (manga... yeah, I know... it's sad). Anyways, I'll be taking pictures on moving day, and then afterwards, when we've settled in~! OH MAN I'M EXCITED~! Finally time to be independent~! ....aw... I'm gonna miss my parents....

So, now I'm gonna try really, really hard to work on some Otafest stuff... it would be lovely if I could get most of it done before I move... ^^;;;

My internet died for a couple of days. Lately, we've been having problems, and I'm not entirely sure why it keep happening, but my mom managed to get it back up today. I had a lot of catching up to do today - how sad! I spend too much time online...

Anyways, because I haven't had internet for the last while, I'm a little late on posting this - but then again, when do I ever post something on the day that it occurs? It was my lover's birthday on the 17th...
